Nokia 3310 is back with together with Nokia 3, 5, 6

February 26, 2017 Android New Launch Nokia

HMD’s plan is for Nokia to have phones at all price points, for all users.

Nokia 3310

The World famous 3310 makes a comeback in. The new 3310 is still very much a feature phone, it has a 2-megapixel camera with a 2.4-inch, 240×320 screen. 3 Things you should know about this phone. Its battery lasts a month, it has Snake, and it has the Nokia ringtone.

While Nokia might come out with some higher-end devices in the months and years to come, the Nokia 3, 5, and 6 are basically low-end phones. With that in mind, it’s launching three new smartphones alongside the 3310.

Nokia 3

The Nokia 3, a 5-inch smartphone made of aluminum and polycarbonate, powered by a lowly MediaTek 6737 processor (a quad-core 1.3GHz chip) and sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The IPS LCD is a respectable 1280x720 (that's 294ppi at 5 inches), while the cameras are 8MP on the front and back — both are ƒ/2.0 lenses with 1.12um pixels. It costs about $150.

Nokia 5

The Nokia 5 has an all-aluminum body, a 5.2-inch display of the same resolution but and ups the MediaTek processor for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. It has the same 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD expansion, an higher 13-megapixel camera with the same 1.12um pixels and an ƒ/2 aperture lens. It also has a fingerprint sensor sitting front-and-center below the display. All that for $200

Nokia 6

At the top of the range there’s the $315 Nokia 6, which is another all-aluminum device with a 5.5-inch laminated IPS LCD panel, 1080p screen. Running on top of a Snapdragon 430 CPU with 3GB of RAM and a 32GB internal storage drive (plus microSD expansion). The rear camera's been bumped up to a 16MP sensor (with smaller 1.0um pixels) behind a ƒ/2 lens, along with a dual-tone LED flash. It’s been available in China since January, and is now going global.

All three phones run a clean, untouched version of Nougat, the latest version of Android, which HMD says will be true for all Nokia phones going forward.
