Moto G8 Power Lite - Overview of a long-lasting smartphone with up to 3 days of battery life in active use mode

Long-playing smartphones are more relevant today than ever. Finally, even the flagship models sacrificed the subtlety and elegance look to the advantage of battery life. There's no need to talk about low-cost devices: 4000 mAh, 5000 mAh and even honest 6000 mAh is no longer news today. So the Motorola company decided to move in the same vein and recently released a new long-lasting smartphone called Moto G8 Power Lite. The manufacturer claims that thanks to the large battery and good hardware, the device can do without recharging for more than two days, even with active use. However, this is not the only trump card up the sleeve of a budget smartphone. What else is interesting about the device, let's take a closer look at it.
Moto G8 Power Lite - overview and features
The appearance of the smartphone is represented by a classic design with a full-screen display, which has a small bottom indent and droplet-shaped cutout for the front camera. The body materials of the device do not strike the imagination, as they are ordinary plastic and tempered glass that covers the screen. On the other hand, the plastic on the back cover is strong enough to withstand shocks rather than glass. The plastic is also water-resistant, so your smartphone is protected from splashes and liquids spilled on it.
The smartphone screen is presented by HD+ matrix, made on IPS technology with an aspect ratio of 20:9 at a diagonal of 6.5 inches. Low display resolution is a key factor in long battery life, as it reduces the load on the chipset and consumes less energy. The processor itself is represented by the Mediatek Helio P35 solution, which is an entry level stone with a 12nm processor and Cortex-A53 cores accelerating to 2.3 GHz. The sufficient performance of the chipset and its slim process has a similarly positive effect on the battery life of the device. The Helio P35 offers up to 4 GB of fast LPDDR4X RAM in dual channel mode and up to 64 GB on the internal drive (micro SD support available).
Moto G8 Power Lite is also interesting thanks to the cameras, it has as much as four of them. The front camera is a single 8 MP module with f/2.0, Face Unlock function and support for shooting in HDR. The main camera is a set of three modules, including a 16 MP main camera with f/1.7 luminous optics, 2 MP macro camera and 2 MP image depth sensor. The smartphone can not only shoot Full HD video at 60 fps, but also offers electronic image stabilization. Thanks to the triple camera, the Moto G8 Power Lite lets you shoot both high-quality regular photos and great portraits and macro shots.
Finally, the battery of 5000 mAh - this, as the manufacturer claims, provides three days of battery life. Up to 100 hours of music streaming, up to 19 hours of watching movies, up to 35 days of standby time. The only drawback is that the smartphone charger gives out no more than 10W and there's no mention of fast charging support anywhere, which means it's probably not available.
