Nikon Z5は、同社のエントリーレベルのZフルフレームZマウントミラーレスカメラです。 24MP CMOSセンサー、5軸画像安定化、および人間と動物の両方を検出するハイブリッドオートフォーカスシステムを備えています。ビルド品質はZ6と同じレベルではありませんが、カメラはまだ耐候性があります。 Z5には、3.6Mドットの電子ビューファインダーと傾斜した3.2インチのタッチスクリーンディスプレイ、およびUHS-II速度をサポートするデュアルSDカードスロットがあります。

Z5は、1.7倍のクロップではありますが、4K / 30pビデオをキャプチャできます。 1080でキャプチャされたビデオは、センサー領域全体を使用し、トリミングはありません。 Z5には高速（120 fpsなど）モードはありません。カメラにはヘッドフォンとマイクの両方のソケットがあります。

Z5は新しいEN-EL15Cバッテリーを搭載し、USB PDをサポートしているため、ポータブルバッテリーパックでカメラに電力を供給できます。 Z6とZ7で使用されているのと同じMB-N10グリップをZ5で使用できます。
