Despite the general problem with the coronavirus, or rather what inconveniences the virus brought to the techno giants, Apple still released new gadgets. It happened on March 18 and the world was presented not only the new MacBook, but also Mac mini, as well as several iPad Pro 2020. In addition, the iPad Pro introduced the Magic Keyboard with a touchpad. Read today's article about what's new in tablets, what surprised the company prepared and whether they managed to make revolutionary gadgets again.
New iPad Pro 11" and 12.9" - an overview of fresh tablets
What immediately distinguishes the fresh tablets from the previous models is a block with main cameras. Now that the iPad Pro 11, like the iPad Pro 12.9, has the same padding for camera modules as the iPhone 11 Series. However, in the case of tablets, the main unit contains only two photomodules: A 12 MP main camera with standard aperture and viewing angle, while a 10 MP camera is wide angle. Apple claims to have a 2x optical zoom, but its implementation is most likely the difference in viewing angles between the width and the standard camera. There is also a third module, but it is called lidar. It's a depth sensor analogue, but it's more advanced.
Lidar, used in the new iPad Pro 2020 tablets, has replaced the usual depth sensor and is able to more accurately determine the distance from the camera to the object. The maximum distance at which the accuracy of the lidar is high does not exceed 5 meters from the gadget. Apple says that the technology of measuring the depth at the photon level with nanosecond speed. In addition, the camera system is complemented by the capabilities of neuro-technology, so that now the iPad Pro 2020 line is a leader in the issue of photographic capabilities in the tablet PC environment.
At the same time, the company states that the lidar will be able to access any practical utility with support for ARKit. This means that augmented reality on the iPad Pro 2020 will be able to reach a new level, giving a higher accuracy. On the other hand, such innovations are not very interesting for the average buyer.
As it has already become clear, there are two tablets: one received an 11-inch matrix, the other - a 12.9-inch matrix. The resolution of the displays is 2388x1668 and 2732x2048 pixels respectively. Type of Liquid Retina screens with ProMotion and TrueTone technologies. The latest Apple A12Z Bionic chip consisting of 8 CPU cores, GPU adapter and Neural Engine unit is responsible for the devices operation. The power of the chipset is not yet revealed, but there is confidence that another record will be set at Antutu.
It worth to empahise that in the new iPad 2020 tablets emphasis is placed on microphones, which as much as 5 pieces. Apple reports that tablets can record sound at studio quality. As for the speakers, there are 4 of them in each device with the presence of full stereo sound. Resolution of the front camera is 7 MP, there is support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, there will be a separate version of the gadgets with a cellular modem, there is a Type-C, and the internal drive offers space from 128 GB to 1 TB.
Magic Keyboard for iPad 2020 - short overview
The most interesting thing about the whole presentation was the new keyboard, not a double camera or a fresh operating system. The rumors were confirmed, and the keyboard really got a touchpad. It is designed in such a way that allows you to adjust the position of the tablet in a wide range, bringing the iPad even closer to a classic notebook. It should be noted that Magic Keyboard offers a full-size keyboard with a "scissor" mechanism and 1 mm keystroke. It also has a USB-C port for charging the tablet, and the USB-C connector on the tablet itself remains idle, so you can use it to connect drives or something else.
iPad Pro 11 & 12.9 inch 2020 - Release Date & Price
The price of an 11-inch iPad Pro without a cellular modem, depending on memory, is estimated from 800 to 1300 dollars. If you have a modem, the price increases to 950 and 1450 dollars respectively. Until recently, coronavirus was mainly an intra-Chinese problem, but now the World Health Organization (WHO) has assigned COVID-19 to pandemic status. In China alone, the number of people infected exceeds 80,000, and beyond its borders, there are about 50,000 people. Countries are quarantined, mass events, air travel are canceled, people start to panic. Simple production of electronics in China has led to the fact that in the near future there will be a shortage of gadgets, and their cost will obviously increase. This will be inevitable, as Chinese manufacturers and entrepreneurs suffered tremendous losses, and they need to be compensated somehow. The increase in the cost of smartphones, tablets, laptops and other smart technology will also occur due to the Black Monday collapse. All this leads to one thought - if you need to purchase any electronics, then you need to do it right now. And it's not a joke!

Why buy electronics right now?
We have already noted that the financial losses of Chinese vendors, idle factories and a drop in the exchange rate do not threaten anything good for the end-user. After all, they lost money, and ordinary buyers will reimburse, that is, we are with you. Now the prices for various electronics are still at the old level, but this stability is so precarious that it will collapse literally from a flimsy sneeze. The global crisis is now at the origin, but even the most hard-pressed analysts cannot predict the consequences. You need to know only one thing - they might not be positive. Prices for smartphones, tablets, laptops and more will soon rise, there’s no doubt even. Therefore, if you are already going to buy something, then you should not postpone it, especially if your budget is limited!Please Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on FB and get notified of our promotions and new launches!
Huawei P40 Lite was recently introduced - the official presentation of the gadget took place on February 27, 2020. However, in fact, the device was released much earlier - in early December 2019, and was called the Nova 6 SE smartphone. The new Huawei P40 Lite is a complete copy of the December device, only undergoing the rebranding procedure (the name of the device is trite). However, this is not so important, because the main thing is how the smartphone turned out. Huawei P40 Lite for the first time is a much better fit for the version of the simplified flagship than the predecessors. Mainly due to hardware, since finally we got a powerful middle-class device.
Huawei P40 Lite - review and specifications
The smartphone continues the policy of framelessness, and therefore the front of the device has minimal indentations around the screen, as well as a hole in the display for the front camera. The frame of the smartphone is metal, but the back cover is plastic, although it is stylized as glass. The smartphone is sold in three colors: black, pink and green. All three colors have a gradient effect.
Huawei P40 Lite received the Kirin 810 processor and this is a breakthrough for the smartphone. This chip is very powerful and much less performance-wise than the flagship Kirin 990 than the Kirin 710 in the Huawei P30 Lite and the then top Kirin 980. For a better understanding, the Kirin 810 is even a bit more powerful than the Snapdragon 730 and scores 300,000 points in Antutu. The processor has been completed using the 7-nanometer process technology, it has the Cortex-A76 and A55 cores with a maximum frequency of up to 2.27 GHz, and the Mali-G52 MP6 video accelerator is responsible for the graphics. Huawei P40 Lite received 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory with support for microSD cards.
The main camera of the smartphone is represented by four modules located on a square platform in the upper left corner. Someone has already dubbed this step a copy of the design of the iPhone 11, but this is more like what Huawei itself offered in the Mate 20 smartphones. The camera itself offers a main 48 MP sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, an 8 MP sensor with an ultra-wide viewing angle, 2 MP module for macro photography and 2 MP depth sensor. There is support for shooting in HDR, and video can be recorded in 4K resolution with a frame rate of up to 30 fps. The front camera offers 16 MP with f / 2.0.
The operating system in the smartphone is Android 10, supplemented by the proprietary EMUI 10 shell. As expected, there are no Google services in the smartphone, but partially they are reimbursed by the branded services of Huawei Mobile Services. This, of course, imposes some restrictions, but Huawei Pay works, and will soon expand its capabilities, there are basic applications and utilities, and over time there will only be more of them.
Finally, battery capacity is 4200 mAh with very fast charging at 40 watts, It allows you to charge the device up to 70% in just 30 minutes.
Huawei P40 Lite - how much and when will be available
The smartphone has already gone on sale in the countries of the European Union - sales began on March 2. The recommended price for the device is 299 euros. However, do not forget that at the start of sales the device may cost more than the recommended price due to the hype surrounding the new product.Please Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on FB and get notified of our promotions and new launches!
Despite all the difficulties and the closure of the flagship line LG G, the South Korean manufacturer of gadgets is still floating. A couple of days ago, the company introduced the new top-end device LG V60 ThinQ, but you might not have heard about it, since the action took place in the brand’s homeland - in South Korea. This happened because, because of the danger of coronavirus infection, the organizers of the MWC 2020 exhibition decided to cancel the event. But the smartphone is presented, and it will go on sale all over the world, not only in South Korea, and therefore it would be necessary to get acquainted with the new flagship closer.
LG V60 ThinQ - what interesting has the gadget prepared?
We should start directly with the highlight of the smartphone - its additional screen-module, which no longer needs to be purchased separately since it comes with the kit. It looks like this: the smartphone is inserted into a special accessory resembling a book cover, the closing part of which has a second display. When its unfolded, both displays are available to the user, on the left and on the right, and the characteristics of both, primary and secondary, are exactly the same - its a 6.8-inch diagonal, P-OLED matrix, Full HD + resolution, aspect ratio 20.5: 9, support for HDR10 + content DCI-P3 color space and Always-on Display technology. Interestingly, the display sweep frequency is only 60 Hz.
Both screens have a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera, but at the same time only a smartphone has a selfie camera, but there is none in the module screen. Why do I need an additional display? Most likely, this is LG's answer to folding devices from Samsung and Huawei, but in its interpretation. This is convenient in games, in multitasking, and without prejudice to the main gadget, since the display module can be safely disconnected and use the LG V60 ThinQ as a regular smartphone.
LG V60 ThinQ - Key Features
As befits any flagship of 2020, the LG V60 ThinQ got the top Qualcomm chip - Snapdragon 865 with memory parameters of 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage to choose from. There is also support for memory cards up to 2 TB. It is powered by a very capacious 5000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4+ fast charging, and wireless charging is also available.
In addition to the fact that LG decided not to bet on a 90 Hz or 120 Hz display, the company also ignored the 108 MP camera. But partly, the manufacturer joined the race of megapixels, as it equipped the device with a 64 MP sensor with f / 1.7, optical stabilization and a Dual Pixel autofocus system. The smartphone also has a 13 MP wide-angle camera with very fast aperture optics f / 1.8 and a ToF-sensor with f / 1.4 to determine the depth of the scene. Similar to other flagships of 2020, LG V60 ThinQ supports recording videos in 4K resolution @ 60fps and 8K @ 30fps. The front camera is represented by a 10 MP sensor with f / 1.9.
Of the other features of the device, it is worth noting the presence of 3D Sound technology with loud and surround sound. There is an NFC module, the housing is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard, the device works in 5G networks and supports Wi-Fi 6. Type-C 3.1 and Bluetooth 5.0 are included by default. The LG V60 ThinQ runs on Android 10 with the proprietary LG UX shell.
The date of the appearance of the smartphone on sale, as well as its price, will become known in the very near future.Please Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on FB and get notified of our promotions and new launches!
Sony’s mobile division has not been in the best position, as it is struggling for profits – there are few smartphones from the Japanese manufacturer currently of interest. However, with the turn of 2020, the company decided to pull itself together, collect their thoughts and is beginning to get out of the pit they landed themselves into. Sony showed several interesting novelties in their new flagship, middle and budget level models. Covering several price segments at once, the manufacturer plans to attract as much attention as possible to Xperia. Today we will make a brief review - Meet the flagship Xperia 1 II, the mid-budget Xperia 10 II and the entry-level Xperia L4.Xperia 1 II (5G) - Quick overview and SpecificationsAt the time of the popularity of multi-megapixel image sensors, where the market is dominated by 48 MP, 64 MP sensors and 108 MP cameras being actively introduced, it is unusual to see 12 MP image sensors. Nevertheless, Sony, which itself produces these sensors, relies on now famous Sony Alpha technology, and not chasing megapixel numbers. Sony Xperia 1 II received a triple main camera at 12 MP and an iToF depth sensor. The flagship is the first device in the world that can do serial shooting with a frequency of up to 20 fps and offers auto shutter speed. In short: autofocus and auto exposure in the smartphone are performed up to 60 times/sec. There is eye tracking for both humans and animals. Also, another interesting upgrade is the lens by Zeiss Optics. The resulting impressive camera is set up as follows:
The main camera is 12 MP with sensor size 1/1.7 ”at bright f/1.7, focal length 24 mm, Optical Image stabilizer, PDAF (Phrase Detection Auto Focus or simply very fast and accurate focusing) and a viewing angle of 82 degrees;
12 MP camera with f/2.4, PDAF focal length 70 mm and a viewing angle of 34 degrees (3x optical zoom);
12 MP ultra wide-angle camera with f/2.2, Dual pixel PDAF and a viewing angle of 124 degrees;
iToF - image depth sensor for creating portrait photos.The Xperia 1 II also offers a 6.5-inch 4K OLED screen with a 21: 9 CinemaWide aspect ratio. The screen refresh rate is 60Hz and this is not a completely frameless screen. Like its predecessor, the front display has two small indents (Speaker and an 8 MP selfie camera). At the same time, the company says that the Xperia 1 II display can imitate the refresh rate up to 90 Hz, but it is not very clear how this technology is comparable with the real 90 Hz.The selected processor is of course the top Snapdragon 865 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage memory. The system is powered by a big 4000mAh battery, a big upgrade from predecessor’s 3330mAh. There is also a quick charge capability: 50% in 30 minutes.
Naturally, the smartphone supports new 5th generation networks, it has IP65 / 68 protection, the case is covered with Gorilla Glass 6, there is Display Port support via USB Type-C, and Android 10 is used as the OS. Something to cheer about, the headphone jack is back. The cost of Xperia 1 II is estimated around 1305 dollars.Xperia 10 II - A Mid-budget smartphone with flagship ambitions
This smartphone turned out to be quite interesting, and if not for the processor, then it could easily be ranked as sub-flagships. But the Snapdragon 665 chipset pre-determined the fate of the device, and enabling it to keep within mid budget range. However, 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage memory still puts the device in fairly good position.Xperia 10 II offers a fairly modest 6 inches OLED display and with Full HD+ resolution. The unit also has a CinemaWide screen with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. The screen is protected by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 6.Flagship ambitions in the smartphone highlight such moments as IP68 water protection, as well as a very advanced triple camera of 12 MP + 8 MP (wide-angle module) + 8 MP (telephoto lens with double optical zoom). The front camera is also represented by an 8 MP sensor.
The smartphone is pleasing with both a big 3600 mAh battery and a fast fingerprint scanner on the side. But let's estimate the cost of Xperia 10 II is about 402 dollars.Xperia L4 - a stylish budget member with Mediatek processor
The smartphone is another member of Sony’s line of CinemaWide-smartphones, since it was endowed with a 6.2inch IPS HD+ screen with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. The company once again focuses on the fact that elongated screens are more useful in the era of content development and it is difficult to argue with that.The Mediatek Helio P22 chipset, which consists of 8 Cortex-A53 cores with a frequency of up to 2 GHz and PowerVR GE8320 graphics, is responsible for the operation of the device. RAM smartphone provided only 3GB, and a storage memory of 64 GB. The battery capacity is a pleasing 3580 mAh, enough for two days of active work with such power. A quick charge provides up to 50% in 40 minutes.
The Xperia L4 also offers three rear-facing cameras and one front-facing camera. The main photomodule consists of a 13 MP sensor, 5 MP sensor (wide-angle) and 2 MP sensor (depth sensor). The front camera can take selfies in resolutions up to 8 MP. Xperia L4 is expected to be priced at about 220 dollars.
On February 11 Samsung introduced several flagship smartphones from the Galaxy S line, and also presented fresh wireless headphones. However, a new folding model of the smartphone has become an equally important novelty of the brand - we are talking about the Galaxy Z Flip. Unlike the Galaxy Fold, a smartphone turning into a tablet, this clamshell is just a foldable smartphone. In its form factor, the Galaxy Z Flip is fully consistent with the Motorola Razr 2019. But the similarities end there since the Galaxy Z Flip offers hardware of a completely different level. In general, let's take a closer look at another miracle of engineering.
Galaxy Z Flip - a full-fledged folding smartphone
Foldable smartphones today are relevant. The dimensions of gadgets have long become transcendental - it is impossible to use one hand with any of the modern devices. Yes, and wearing them in jeans pockets is still a "pleasure". At the same time, reducing gadgets is not the right decision, because now everything is focused on content - the more it fits on the display, the better. It would seem an insoluble task, but smartphone manufacturers thought carefully and decided to bend smartphones - the benefit of OLED displays allows you to do this without any difficulties. You can bend in different ways, it is. For example, Huawei decided to make a Mate X tablet, which folds into a two-way smartphone, and Samsung released the Galaxy Fold smartphone, which folds into a tablet. Then Motorola burst into the market, which completely bent the familiar smartphone.
The latter, apparently, prompted Samsung to reconsider its attitude towards bending smartphones - this is how the Galaxy Z Flip appeared, which is an analogue of Motorola Razr 2019. Such a decision of a folding smartphone is the most advantageous and Samsung itself calls it the “form of the future” gadgets. Let's get acquainted with the technical equipment of this device.
Galaxy Z Flip - Specifications
If we forget that we have a folding device, then it can be easily confused with any classic flagship smartphone of 2019. After all, the Galaxy Z Flip equipped with a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED-screen with a resolution of FullHD +, which provides a pixel density of up to 425 dots per inch. For the operation of the device meets the top processor of the past year Snapdragon 855 Plus, supplemented with 8 GB of RAM, as well as an internal drive of 256 GB.
The camera on the rear panel consists of a dual sensor: one 12 MP sensor is responsible for standard photos, and an additional 12 MP camera photographs with an ultra-wide viewing angle. The aperture of the first lens is f / 1.8, and the second f / 2.2. On the front panel there is a 10 MP selfie camera. What is the main camera, that the front ones can record video in 4K resolution, only for the main frame rate is 60fps, and for the front 30fps.
The average battery capacity is a 3300 mAh battery with support for fast charging via wire (15W) and wireless (9W). There is Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6, an NFC module and a fingerprint scanner on the side. The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Flip when unfolded are 167.9 x 73.6 x 7.2 mm, and when folded 87.4 x 73.6 x 17.3 mm.
Galaxy Z Flip - comparison with Motorola Razr 2019
We have already mentioned how the Galaxy Z Flip differs from Galaxy Fold and Mate X, and due to the different form factor it is not entirely correct to compare smartphones. But Motorola Razr 2019 and Galaxy Z Flip are very similar in appearance, so here are a few facts that show the superiority of Galaxy over Razr:
Galaxy Z Flip has a glass display cover, not a plastic one. Also, the diagonal of its display is larger - 6.7 inches versus 6.2 inches for Razr;
Galaxy Z Flip has a more powerful chipset (Snapdragon 855+ vs Snapdragon 710);
Galaxy Z Flip has more memory (8/256 GB vs 6/128 GB);
Galaxy Z Flip offers a 3300 mAh battery against a competitor's 2510;
Galaxy Z Flip has a dual 12 MP camera versus a single Razr camera (16 MP with f / 1.7);
Galaxy Z Flip costs $ 1,380, and the 2019 Razr is priced at $ 1,500.
The downside of the Galaxy Z Flip is only that it does not have an external small display, like the Motorola Razr 2019 (more precisely, it is, but very tiny - only time shows). This is not a very important thing, but its presence is clearly better than the absence. In all other respects, Samsung’s solution is a cut above the expensive Motorola toy.Please Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on FB and get notified of our promotions and new launches!
A few days ago I was officially announced the launch of Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The announcement of new products was in China on February 13 via an online channel due to coronavirus. There is a lot of information about smartphones, and not only the characteristics become known, but also the prices that have already managed to disappoint. You remember that Xiaomi specifically created the Redmi sub-brand so that they produce cheap gadgets, and users finally broke the stereotype that Xiaomi = cheap. Then the company said that it would increase the cost of its devices, but if this was not yet in 2019, then in 2020 Xiaomi will keep its promise - the new flagships will rise in price by 1.5 times compared to their predecessors. Whether this helps Xiaomi to increase revenue or the army of fans will turn its back on its idol, only time will tell.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro - an overview of the new flagships
The online networks have already a sufficient number of posters with smartphones - these are official images of gadgets. Therefore, we can evaluate the appearance of smartphones, as well as understand what are the differences between Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. And the differences, as it turned out, are extremely small, and you can notice them only with a detailed comparison of gadgets. Both smartphones are frameless with a display made using the Waterfall technology (screen-waterfall), which smoothly bends on the sides. At the same time, there are no unnecessary elements on the front part - only a thin mesh for the conversational speaker and a front camera built into the cutout in the display. Earlier it was reported that the Mi 10 Pro will receive a dual front camera, but this was not true.
If you look at the back of the devices, then here they are the same. They are very much like Xiaomi Mi Note 10, offering four camera modules in the form of an exclamation mark - no huge camera pads like Huawei or Samsung. However, here lies the main difference between Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro - the latter between the cameras still had a laser AF assistant and a ToF sensor used to determine the depth of field of the scene. You can also notice different camera lenses on smartphones, so the devices will definitely have a different set of photo modules.
As for the technical characteristic, both devices will also not differ much. The basis of all the basics will be the Snapdragon 865 processor, 108 MP camera, the ability to shoot video in 8K resolution and a 50x hybrid zoom. The devices have received support for the Wi-Fi 6 protocol, RAM standard LPDDR5 and drive standard UFS 3.0. According to the latest data, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will additionally receive fast charging at 65 watts.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro - release date and price
In China, the presentation of the devices was held online February 13th. As we already said, smartphones will not cost cheap, since Xiaomi wants to break this stereotype and come close to the cost of OnePlus, Huawei and Samsung devices. Therefore, the initial price for Xiaomi Mi 10 with 8/128 GB of memory will be $ 600, and the Mi 10 Pro for 8/256 GB will cost $ 742.
We remind you that the price tag of Xiaomi Mi 9 last year started from $ 445.Please Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on FB and get notified of our promotions and new launches!
At the end of March 2020, Huawei will introduce two flagships - the P40 and P40 Pro. As usual, the entire stock of advanced technologies and developments will be received by the Huawei P40 Pro model, which means we'll talk about this smartphone today. As of today there are already enough leaks and information regarding the gadget, in fact, the design of the device is almost 100% disclosed. If you believe the leaks, the device will receive an ultra-powerful main camera with the ability to 10x optical zoom, a huge battery of 5500 mAh, fast charge of 50 watts, and at the same time a lower price tag compared to the previous model Huawei P30 Pro (due to the lack of Google- services). In general, some monster of the smartphone industry is waiting for us, and it really pleases that Huawei does not give up and continues to bend its line no matter what!
Huawei P40 Pro - Preview
Although Huawei is trying to create a more or less unique smartphone design, this time we can observe some symbiosis: the company borrowed some elements from Apple and some from Samsung. So, on the front panel, you can see an almost completely frameless display with a hole for a dual front camera in the upper left corner. On the back panel, there is a fairly massive platform with cameras, of which there are five pieces. As usual, the case will be made of glass and metal, and in the end, we will get a pretty beautiful and interesting device.
It is necessary to surprise users, therefore, the device is equipped with a 6.5-inch QuadHD-screen (for the first time at Huawei) with an AMOLED matrix, which has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In this case, the fingerprint scanner will be located under the display. For the work of the gadget, its own Kirin 990 chip will answer, which fights on equal terms with the Snapdragon 865. The solution is very powerful, especially in terms of artificial intelligence, and it will also give confidence 8/12 GB of RAM paired with 128/256 GB of ROM.
What are smartphones showing off in the first place? Of course the cameras! Huawei P40 Pro will generally receive the most top-end kit among the entire line of Huawei P, offering five sensors at once, which is not surprising. The most important photosensor will be a 52 MP sensor with a lens from Leica. Like other matrices with a large number of megapixels, this solution can combine 4 pixels into one for better shooting at night, and also gives optical zoom without loss of quality by crop of the picture. So, when shooting at a resolution of 52 MP, the pixel size is 0.96 μm, and when combining the pixels in a pool, the output is 13 MP with a total pixel size of 1.92 μm. Also in the device, there will be a telephoto camera with tenfold optical zoom at 16 MP, a wide-angle camera, a macro camera and a ToF depth sensor.
Huawei P40 Pro will be released on the Android operating system - while the development of its own OS has either hung or is slowly moving, but it is not ready! There will be no Google services in the device, but Huawei will replace the partially missing programs with utilities from its own AppGallery store - at least the most popular programs can be downloaded there. Due to missing services from Google, the Huawei P40 Pro will cost about $ 200 less than the P30 Pro at the start of sales.
Finally, the company also intends to greatly increase its battery capacity, instead of the 4200 mAh battery (this is the case in the Huawei P30 Pro), the new product will have a 5500 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 50 watts. It follows from this that the company is doing everything to get around its competitors and not face the dirt, even in such a difficult situation.Please Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on FB and get notified of our promotions and new launches!
In August 2018 Xiaomi launched the “flagship” called the Pocophone F1. It became popular for several reasons, but among all the most important were the price and a set of characteristics. For relatively little money, the device offered top-end hardware in the form of Snapdragon 845, good cameras, enough memory, and a capacious battery. But due to the low price, the company still had to save on something, in particular, the materials of the case. The Pocophone F1 received a completely plastic case, although this did not bother the buyers at all - they knew why they were buying the cheapest flagship on the market. In 2019, we all waited for the continuation in the form of the Pocophone F2, but alas, this did not happen. Many of us have already lost hope, but at the beginning of 2020 very interesting information became known: Xiaomi is preparing both the flagship Pocophone F2 and its simplified model Pocophone X2 (Poco X2). That's exactly about the sub-flagship model we’ll talk today since almost all the parameters of the gadget became known and the appearance was partially revealed.
Poco X2 - smartphone design
For about a month there have been talks about this model, but only now everything has fallen into place. Poco X2 is a Redmi K30 clone with some minor differences. That is, the appearance of the device will turn out to be almost completely identical to the Redmi K30 - this is directly indicated by the device’s poster merged into the network.
For better or worse, let everyone decide for themself, but it is worth noting that for Xiaomi this is a common practice and there is nothing to be surprised about. As for the design of the device itself, it is fully consistent with the spirit of modern gadgets: a frameless display, a dual front camera, built directly into the screen, a vertical four-module main camera on the back, located in the middle, a glass case with a gradient - everything you need from an average price device 2020 categories.
Poco X2 - Key Features
As much as we would not like, the Pocophone X2 will copy the Redmi K30 model and not the Redmi K30 5G. Therefore, the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor instead of the top-level sub-flagship chipset - Snapdragon 765G. In addition to lower performance, Poco X2 will also not be able to boast of support for 5G networks, being content only with 4th generation networks. On the other hand, let's don’t forget that its an inexpensive smartphone for the mass market, so this configuration is soft of justifiable.
So far it is known that the device will receive 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. Not so much, so we are sure that other modifications of the gadget will be presented, at least 6/128 GB. Nothing is said about the support of memory cards, but since Redmi K30 has something similar, then it's worth the wait. Similarly, the IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of Full HD + will migrate to the device and 120 Hz.
The main camera of the smartphone will offer a four-module system. The main sensor in the device will be a 64 MP Sony IMX686 sensor with an aperture of f / 1.89. For wide-angle photos with a viewing angle of up to 120 degrees, an 8 MP sensor is useful, a 2 MP sensor is used to measure the depth of the scene, and the microcosm will be used to shoot a macro camera at 2 MP. On the front part in the cutout in the display there will be a dual front camera of 20 MP + 2 MP (an additional sensor is needed to create portrait selfies).
Like the Redmi K30, the Poco X2 will offer a capacious 4,500 mAh battery. It will be possible to charge it quickly enough since a charging unit with a capacity of up to 30 watts will also be supplied with the gadget. It is very pleasing that the Poco X2 will keep with it a 3.5 mm jack, as well as receive an NFC module for contactless payment. Finally, MIUI 11 based on Android 10 will act as the operating system in the smartphone.
Poco X2 - release date and price
According to the published poster, the base cost of the gadget will be about 265 dollars.
